Our eyes can’t handle the gorgeousness of New Mexico light! We were more than happy to trek eastward for a unique romp through beautiful farmland and rustic countryside for Aimee and Ric’s completely custom western wedding.
These lovebirds started their day at Los Poblanos Historic Inn had their ceremony at Sol Harvest Farm, a place they also call home! They supply all the fresh produce for Farm & Table – the restaurant on site – which is where Aimee and Ric’s guests partied after the ceremony.
Keep your eyes peeled for all kinds of unique details and Southwestern touches!
Blue, blue skies – a trademark of New Mexico!
Everyone is relaxing before the big day begins!
Our gorgeous bride, Aimee, sips on some water with lemon while she gets her hair coiffed.
Feathers, pins, and amber jewelry are just a few touches that are uniquely Aimee! Her braided updo echoes the detail in her lacy wedding outfit.
We’ve never seen a bridal getup quite like this one! A lace jacket and delicate slipdress are bold choices for a unique bride.
Time for a first look! Ric patiently waits to see his (almost!) bride.
Can you believe the leaves could be so colorful? We’re in love with this romantic natural backdrop.
We had to sneak a few photos in the greenhouse! What better way for two farmers to celebrate their big day?
The ceremony site was a short walk away from Ric and Aimee’s house, and was freshly cleared for the wedding day. Simple drapery and bohemian garland are the only decor needed for this ceremony with a view.
This little flower girl is ready for her closeup! Sometimes all you need is a killer flower crown as your bridesmaid apparel!
We approve of cowboy hats when they look this stylish! The pops of color in his scarf and boutonniere are our favorite details.
This rustic aisle is perfect for the country bride! How many people can say they decorated their ceremony space with veggies?
Aimee’s parasol is so very lovely and perfect for masking the New Mexico sun. Especially at mid day!
Could this teensy flower girl be any cuter? Her mom wore a matching flower crown with her down the aisle, but now she’s resting in dad’s arms. Being a flower girl is hard work!
Small touches like this ring of orange flowers are sweet and natural.
Stamped table numbers and feathers let guests find their way to their seats. Farm and Table served up quite the amazing meal with fresh veggies and locally sourced meat.
Al fresco dining takes advantage of the New Mexico weather at its finest.
How fun is it to have a family heirloom recipe as a wedding cake? Not only is it completely unique, but deeply personal.
We adore the heavenly globe lighting and the romance it infused the reception with. Aimee and Ric’s first dance made us all tear up!
Dancing, food, and fun rounded out the night, and Aimee and Ric were whisked away by limo to their honeymoon.
Much love to you both!
