What about a wedding donut bar for your party or wedding? Sounds yummy no! Thank you to Audrey of Botanica Floral Designs once again and Alice Koswara for her lovely styling and paper goods design. I love paper, and am addicted to paper as an ex designer, so I can’t get enough of Alice’s designs! The delectable donuts were from Dynamo Donuts, of course!
This idea was inspired by our shared love of donuts and coffee! And of course, everything pretty and cute. And guess who got to finish the donuts and coffee after that?
Don’t you love the invites that Alice designed for the event? So cute! Each guest also gets to go home with their donut hole doggy bag with cute little stickers. And while you are at the cupping and tasting party, guests get to fill out custom coffee cupping cards so they can write down what they thought about each coffee and rate them according to their taste, aroma and more. We loved the idea so much we did the same for the donuts, a donut rating card! After all, we can taste donuts all day long. Guests can rate the donuts yumminess, looks, texture and filling as well as aroma! I personally loved the pistachio ones myself although I know that the glazed maple bacon donuts were a big hit! Next time, I will have to be sure to try the apricot cardammon and caramel de sel ones more.
And don’t forget to try the dipping station with your donut holes!! Donut holes with caramel were my favorite. Ending the tasting party with coffee from Philz, Ritual and Blue Bottle was even more divine!
Thanks to Maddy of Somewhere Splendid for featuring our wedding donut bar inspiration idea with a lot of beautiful photos!! I just love Maddy’s new blog, don’t you? And did you know that Maddy also runs the awesome wedding blog: The Inspired Bride. Definitely one of my top favorite wedding blogs!
what a scrumptious dessert bar!
What could be better than dounuts – except dipped in chocolate or other yummy sauces.
I shouldn’t have looked at these before dinner. Now my desserts look so inadequate. These shots are reach-out-and-touch delicious!
