If you have followed our blog for a bit, then you will quickly see that the Flood Mansion has become a new favorite of ours to shoot. The past weddings we have shot there like Nicole + Jake and Kathryn +Roberto and both have been weddings that are breathtaking. It is the perfect venue for something traditional, playful, elegant, or even modern with a twist.
Located in the heart of San Francisco, the Flood Mansion offers a one of a kind experience that is timeless and an elegance that is unrivaled. The views of the city are enough to make you awestruck.
Nicole + Jake’s Modern Blush Wedding with a Twist
This wedding was an absolute dream, and we think that these two did an exceptional job picking out their venue spot at the Flood Mansion. It really was the perfect spot for her dream wedding to come true. We loved working with them, were so blessed to be a part of their special day!
I mean, this view is just the best. It really can’t get better than a view of the bay! From their website: “Boasting a premier Pacific Heights address, the Flood Mansion has impressed visitors since its debut in 1915. Once the family home of one of San Francisco’s original captains of industry, the Flood offers a number of exquisitely crafted rooms for your use.”
From the Bride: “From the beginning Jake and I wanted wedding that was classic and timeless. We never wanted to look back at our pictures and feel like they were dated. So we selected the things we loved and pieced every detail together one by one… We had a very specific list of what we wanted and as gorgeous as the other venues were they were still missing the mark. The Flood Mansion was always my first choice.. and so we were set in our dream city at our dream venue for June 21, 2014”
Kathryn + Roberto’s Classic White and Navy Wedding
There is so much to this space and really the Kohl mansion has it all, a gorgeous courtyard, lovely ballroom, dreamy grand hall, elegant grand staircase and beautiful balcony. We love how versatile it is too, yet with each wedding there is a timeless and unique quality to it! Kathryn + Roberto’s wedding was simple, yet was able to enhance the natural beauty of the wedding venue.
The space is so versatile, that we have seen couples use the grounds in creative ways. The courtyard has been used for ceremonies or cocktail hours or for both! We had so much fun exploring the grounds with our couples, and seeing the general splendor that the Flood Mansion has to offer. The best part about the Flood Mansion is that every location within the grounds makes for the perfect photo opportunity! There is so much to work with at the Flood Mansion!
