As Lyndsey and Sameer’s Sonoma wedding photographer, we just had to make one last post of this bride and groom’s gorgeous Indian wedding at Viansa Winery. Their wedding day celebration was so beautiful that they were recently featured in Smitten Mag’s March issue! “Brimming with gorgeous photography, playful layouts and real wedding editorials, Smitten Magazine is a beautifully designed nod to contemporary wedding charm and the e-mag answer to the booming bridal market.”
We had to go back to this groom procession to show off more from Sameer’s big entrance, complete with his horse who was as dressed up as the wedding party! As their Sonoma wedding photographer, we were so lucky to be able to participate in this once in a lifetime event.
Capturing both Lyndsey and Sameer in contemplation and prayer during their traditional Hindu ceremony was so special. As a Sonoma wedding photographer, we love the wine country sun and today the light filtering through the Viansa Winery courtyard was just right.
This is one of our favorite photographs of Lyndsey that we captured as her Sonoma wedding photographer. The intensity of her gray green eyes was so captivating even popping more than her rich red wedding gown.
Lyndsey and Sameer stole a few kisses tucked into the secret vine covered corners at Viansa Winery here in Sonoma, California. It really made us feel like we were spying on a few love struck teenagers! We loved their chemistry and in turn had a great time photographing them as their Sonoma wedding photographer.
Aren’t Lyndsey and Sameer just absolutely stunning? It makes us want to travel back in time to this day again and capture more and more portraits for them (and us) to share!
Lyndsey’s traditional Indian veil was completely stunning with embroidery, gold piping, and crystals against the deep red fabric.
Even Sameer had a touch of henna on the inside of his palm. We loved photographing these stunning patterns on their hands and feet.
Viansa Winery is one of our favorite locations in the Sonoma area, so we were happy to explore the grounds with Lyndsey and Sameer – including taking a few bridal portraits of Lyndsey inside their esteemed wine barrel room.
And this beautiful Indian wedding comes to a close. Don’t forget to check out Lyndsey and Sameer’s Smitten Mag feature, complete with a few words from Lyndsey herself! You can find it here on Issuu.
Love to see how people around the world are accepting the traditional Indian style of wedding.
